Edgar Momplaisir - Dynamic Southern California Comedian and TV Writer
Based in Southern California, Edgar Momplaisir is a TV writer who has delivered scripts to studios such as Paramount Plus, Fox, ABC, Netflix, and Comedy Central. He has worked on popular programs such as Paramount Plus/Titmouse Star’s “Everybody Still Hates Chris” and the same studio’s “Trek Lower Decks.” Edgar Momplaisir’s entrepreneurial endeavors extend to leading Los Negrito, a production company, and he has developed several compelling TV pilots.
Mr. Momplaisir also has a passion for comedy and improv, and performs regularly at local venues such as Upright Citizen Brigade. He has consulted with Comedy Central/Irony Point on an untitled Franchesca Ramsey sketch show and engaged as a writer for the 71st Primetime Emmys.
Born in New York, Mr. Momplaisir is a longtime New York Knicks, Yankees, and Giants fan who appreciates the artistry of Kevin Durant’s basketball game. With roots in the Haitian-American community, he has an affinity for alternative hip hop and other forms of creative urban expression.
